 My wake-up call came in the middle of school meeting in fifth grade. 

 I thought we were going in to talk about classroom behavior.
Instead, the teacher said “ADHD”—and suddenly, everything tilted.

I left that meeting with tears in my eyes, a doctor’s number in my hand, and one heavy question I couldn't shake:

​​​​​​​“What do I do now?”

So I went all in.
Books. Podcasts. Parenting Programs. Research.
I did everything I was told would help.

And still...life felt hard.

Not until I changed the way I saw my child.

Not until I stopped trying to fix him—and started leading him.

Started noticing what was already working.
Started building on his strengths.
Started showing up with optimism instead of fear.

That was the turning point.

Because I wasn’t just learning for him anymore—
I was becoming the kind of parent he actually needed.

And now, I help other moms do the same.

Here’s what I believe about ADHD parenting:

Dads matter deeply too—but in most families, it’s moms who are carrying the day-to-day weight of appointments, school, homework, and finding the right support.

I support the American Academy of Pediatrics clinical guidelines—but clinical and behavior management alone aren’t enough to build a life of happiness.
