Hi! — I’m Angel. I’ve been right where you are.

I know the endless appointments.
The sticker charts. The guilt.
The Google rabbit holes at midnight.

And I know how it feels to be told, “just medicate”—and sent on your way. Alone. Powerless.

But here’s the truth:
You don’t have to do everything.
And you don’t have to do it alone.

With the right support and simple tools, you can help your child in deep, meaningful ways—building the lifelong skills that pills alone can’t teach.

My wake-up call came in the middle of school meeting in fifth grade.

I thought we were going in to talk about classroom behavior.
Instead, the teacher said “ADHD” and “medication”—and suddenly, everything tilted.

I left that meeting with tears in my eyes, a doctor’s number in my hand, and one heavy question looping in my head:

“What do I do now?”

So I dove in—books, blogs, podcasts, parenting programs.
I did all the things.

I tried being gentler. Stricter. More consistent. Less reactive.
I worked so hard.
But nothing really worked.

Not until I changed the way I saw my child.

Not until I stopped trying to fix him and started supporting his brain—with connection, structure, and emotional safety.

That was the turning point.

Because I wasn’t just learning for him.
I was learning for you.

For the mom sitting in that same kind of meeting, blindsided, exhausted, ashamed… and completely alone.

You’re not alone anymore.

“I walked into that meeting thinking we’d talk about classroom behavior.
I walked out with a diagnosis, a doctor’s number… and a gut-punch of guilt I didn’t know what to do with.”

That day broke me open.
But it also lit a fire to figure out what my child really needed—

and who I needed to become to help him.

Here’s what I believe about ADHD parenting:

check_circle
I believe ADHD isn’t bad behavior—it’s a brain that needs support.
check_circle
I believe meltdowns aren’t manipulation—they’re communication.
check_circle
I believe pills may help some—but they don’t build skills.
check_circle
I believe structure builds safety—not control.

And I believe you don’t need to be perfect—You just need to be present.

A few things that make me…me

I traded in our dining table for a ping-pong one. Best. Decision. Ever.
home
I live in Florida with two boys, a dog named Karma, and two cats who think they run the house.

I move my body almost every day—sometimes to clear my mind, sometimes to shake off a meltdown (mine or my kid’s).

I was once a Neuroscience Program Director. Now I design brain-based tools for moms like you.

I love travel, quiet mornings, and shopping online so I can avoid Target… because we both know how that ends.

I grew up in a family of 7—with four brothers. Noise is nothing new.

You don’t need a perfect plan—you just need a place to start.

The Brain Zones Tool is a simple printable that helps your child visualize what they’re feeling—and shows you how to respond with calm, not chaos.

It’s free. It works. And it’s helped thousands of moms just like you.
